  • 5 days Kick-Off workshop of the dance4life start-up process.

    May 21-25 2018 | The Kick-Off workshop is a 5-day workshop of the Dance4Life Start-Up process organized by dance4life and attended Rutgers Pakistan and Blessing Welfare Association teams. In this workshop participants learned more about Dance4Life's new model (the journey4life) and set up the prerequisites for a successful project.

  • 4 days capacity strengthening training on Regional and international Advocacy and Effective Communications in Bangkok, Thailand.

    March 18-21 2018 | Rutgers organized a 4 days capacity strengthening workshop on a) Regional and international Advocacy on SDGs and b) Effective communication strategies for advocacy on youth SRHR from 18-21 March 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand. The training was attended by 22 participants from 11 platform members under Right Here Right Now (RHRN) Programme.

  • 5 - days training of dance4life Heart Connection Team in Karachi

    March 7 -11 2018 | Rutgers Pakistan conducted a 5-days training of dance4life Heart Connection Team in Karachi from 7 - 11 March 2018. This training was organized for 30 selected dance4life Pakistan’s young facilitators who were certified in a previous HCT training, to increase their facilitation skills and knowledge in the ToT training so that they may, in turn, continue to train new HCT tour teams in Pakistan.

  • Adolescent girls are determined to end the menace of child marriage from Pakistan

    May 16, 2017 | A Review and Reflection Forum to acknowledge the community mobilization efforts of adolescent girls (Kirans) was organized at hotel Indus, Hyderabad on 16 may 2017. The event was attended by Kirans, Teachers, Officials from Education and other relevant government departments, academia and civil society representatives. During the event, kirans showcase their achievements of reaching out different community stakeholders during their campaign against child marriages they also highlighted the challenges and hurdles faces as well as the mitigation strategies adopted by them. Their efforts were well and appreciated by the audience

  • dance4life “inspire tour” and celebrate an event

    April 14, 2015 | A mega inspire tour was organized in a school by the dance4life Pakistan Heart Connection Tour Team. Around 200 students aged 14-17 were part of this day-long inspire tour in which they were provided with information and awareness related to abuse, gender discrimination and HIV and AIDS.
  • Pakistan Humanitarian Expo

    April 20, 2015 | Rutgers WPF participated in the Pak Humanitarian Expo where it displayed its various projects and services. The event was aimed for an introduction as well as a means of exposure to other organizations working on human rights-based efforts.
